PREGNANT DADS

'Expectant Fathers' are as excited and as confused about the coming months and baby. Here are some useful information to help you cope up with this awesome milestone.

Managing in the Third Trimester

The arrival of third trimester again brings back the first trimester memories with it. The nausea may return but the main problem is the physical discomfort and other problems that go with it. Shortness of breath, easy fatigability, swelling in the legs, difficulty to even turn in bed, itching all over may cause her to be irritable.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

Again love, support and cuddle her. But now finalize the hospital details, you can't be pregnant, but you can participate by being an active observer. Let your partner know you're enjoying seeing her pregnant body.

Take pictures to record how her bump grows. Pack up her bag.

Give her lots of days off- kitchen, Support her to the bathroom, to change positions in bed. Talk with her to your baby and discuss the welcoming of the baby with her.

Avoid inviting your friends home at this time. Sex may have to be limited at this time. Most Important, prepare for the post delivery days because once the baby is out, there will be no time to prepare.

Plan to be there for her labor and delivery to hold her and wipe her face. You both will always remember those times spent together.
